This place is amazing!! The food is so good! Only downside is no desserts! Strongly recommend the house ales and the crackling!
Huge selection of spirits (including over 100 gins!). Really welcoming, and very nice to sit by the wood fire. Super close to the train station too, well worth a trip
Very pleasant Sunday lunch in a traditional, rustic pub. Staff competent but inattentive when the place is full. Prices consistent with the beautiful location. THERE IS NO PARKING; do not attempt the journey under the aqueduct. Use the pay and display park on the other side of the water.
If you find it, down a steep narrow road. It is well worth the visit. We popped in on our way to Bath.Did not know they did sandwiches so may be worth asking as not on the menu we were given xx.Very pretty place.Reminds me of the book. Going on a Bear Hunt
A gem of a find as you trek into Bradford on Avon. An historic building with an interior to match. Exposed walls, oak panels and open fireplace make for a quaint retreat. Super firendly staff are accommodating in every respect. The food should not be missed! I went for the lamb and it was the best I have ever had. Their coffee is pretty decent too.
