We ordered Gym Dodger, Faultline and Otter for beers out of which I personally liked Gym Dodger the most. Otter was bit more bitter than my liking.In food, we ordered Roasted Pheasant Breast with Smoked Bacon which tasted nice. Phesant was cooked nicely and side dishes were in apt quantity and blended well with the flavoursWe also ordered Sharer which was lesser in qty than expected but tasted good enough but loved the smoked haddock fish specifically Overall nice place to spend couple of hrs to drink and eat and spend lovely time with friends
I visited Timbrell's Yard on Sunday 3rd Feb this year for a roast lunch with my daughter and husband. We received a very warm welcome and the service was A1. The food was absolutely beautiful and meat was so tender. The restaurant had a wonderful relaxing happy atmosphere and it's set in a most beautiful location. I would recommend a visit here with 100% confidence and absolutely no hesitation. I very much hope to visit again. If you visit...you won't be disappointed. 10/10
Always excellent food - with delicious touches beyond the usual. The service also never disappoints. Three visits so far, and all well above average!
Really tasty, imaginative food in a chilled atmosphere. The decor is stylish, the space large and airy. The service is what you want - professional, friendly and attentive. A children's menu is available, although many mains can be scaled down if needed.
Good place to eat, medium range on the price, 100% mark up on the wine but you would expect that. Has a 300 oz rump steak which was very nice. Peppercorn sauce was well worth the addition. The Mrs had chicken which was as nice as you would have anywhere. The staff were friendly and efficient and we would definitely come back.
