Its OK. Quite pretty. Not worth the ticket price. Walk along the valley instead.

One of the most beautiful gardens I have ever visited. Truly a happy place, somewhere to relax and wander. I could spend all day here, every day.

This is, without doubt the most amazing place.....a total must to visit. The approach to the manor is by a very steep narrow road which passes over the most beautiful river at the bottom. The gardens are grade 1 listed and designed by Peto in an Italianate style. There are vistas to die for in every direction with a myriad of beautiful plants and scents. One notable tree is a mulberry with succulent fruit. The gardens range from terraces to natural flowing little streams and pools to a Japanese garden with a garden house and the most beautiful cloisters building that oozes romance with a Romeo and Juliet balcony and a place for tranquil prayer. If you choose, there are steps that take you into a lovely woodland walk. Anyone believing in fairies might just find them here! A place you just don't want to leave but rounded off with a cup of unique Iford flavoured teas or coffee and a slice of home made cake.

Stunning manor house and garden set back from any main roads near a river. Beautifully landscaped and encompassing views as you navigate the gardens. Lots of water features around the gardens and interesting nooks and crannies. Wisteria looked awesome. The homemade scones in the cream tea and raspberry jam were fantastic. Also try the local cider and lavendar earl grey tea.

What a pretty place. Lovely gardens but sloped and steps. Can take loads of photos as such an interesting garden. Statues -hidden little ponds - grotto like buildings. Wisteria an absolute picture at the moment. Well worth a visit.
