I came to see Dr Crocker on 5th November feeling very unwell. He called the assessment unit at the hospital and they wanted to see me. Dr Crocker and his team arrsnfed for the ambulance to take me. Unfortunately the 999 system was booked up so I had to wait. I received care and compassion from Doctor Crocker, Nurse Lynne and the many staff at Bradford on Avon surgery. They made me feel comfortable as possible. They gave regular updates. The time and patience that they gave to me was fantastic and made my friend who had waited with me feel very welcome and offered coffee snd snacks for him. I would recommend this surgery whole heartedly. I am so very thankful to have this surgery as my surgery and would not change at all.Thank you to all of you for your care that you showed and the extra mile that uou all went........

38 years of excellent service for our family from quality doctors, nurses, dentists and the pharmacy. They have coped with their many changes and our plethora of needs really well. Coordination - when necessary - with RUH and emergency services and specialists works really well. We are very lucky to have such a good health centre and dedicated team.

You cannot get through to them. Their internal communication is awful, their GP's make incorrect notes and ultimately you have to chase them throughout the whole process. Very poor service, I would recommend reviewing this as soon as possible.

Have had many positive experiences of this doctor's surgery, but am finding their new system difficult. I keep ringing up to book an appointment only to listen to a pre-recorded message saying that they are full for the day and are only taking emergency appointments. I need a doctor's appointment and having to keep going through this is not really acceptable. I can't imagine how their vulnerable patients are faring. Not to mention that a lot of serious illnesses don't start with emergency level symptoms. How many people's health is being put at risk because they can't get a simple appointment?

This is an outstanding practice. It can sometimes take a while to get through to BOA surgery on the phone - but not unacceptably so. Each one of us is contributing to the difficulty in getting through, each no doubt with justification for calling. That is not the surgery's fault. When I ring, I always find the receptionists extremely helpful. I have never had a problem getting a call from or appt with a doctor when it has been important. Usually the same day. I have no complaints in that regard. The ongoing care has been excellent, with no reluctance or delay in referring for specialist advice when needed. We feel very lucky to have such an excellent GP practice. Thank you.
