What an absolute delight. It's so great to see this Tea Room still a hive of activity, well, relaxed activity. As you enter the building you go through this 'tiny' old door, so mind your head and you're greeted by the friendliest staff.The tea...wow! The scones...wow and the service, they couldn't do more for you.The atmosphere is historic. Baroque music, wooden beams and staff wear vintage outfits, just brilliant!

Fabulous place. My friend had an afternoon tea voucher as a present and we went there today. Lovely food, beautiful building, great staff. We'd go again.
Nice place, very quaint and decorated in an old fashioned style that suits the place very well. However did not feel I got much for my money; 10 for 2 scones and a single cup of coffee; should have had a re-fill or a pot, but the scones were lovely with plenty of ham and cream. Take your nan, she'll love it.
