What can I say about this place, a range of books to suit every need and or requirement, from brand spanking new to very old and eclectic, if your an avid book reader and are in Bradford on Avon dont miss this shop.
Nice people, friendly and informed, and a good range of books. I particularly like the secondhand section, where I've found some terrific reads; strong on local writers and history, and often rather cheaper than you would find them in a charity shop!
This is just one of the nicest book shops you could ever wish for. Both Jim and Carol have an instinctive antennae for just the book you need for that gift you have to buy. Their suggestions have been a hit every time! They are the most patient and helpful of book lovers. They also have a treasure trove of books out in the barn but the little shop is packed to the brim with little gems too as their book buying combines deep knowledge, sophistication, quirky and amusement and their service is second to none. I used to live around the corner but sadly, it is no longer my local book shop. I miss it!
